- Workers’ Compensation Defense
Ingrid Gonzalez joined Moran Kidd in September of 2014 as an Associate. She will be focusing her practice in the area of workers’ compensation defense. Ingrid is a native Spanish speaker, raised in Miami, Florida. She attended Florida International University for her undergraduate studies with her Florida Medallion Scholarship for academic excellence, and obtained a Bachelors of Arts in both Psychology and Political Science.
Ingrid returned to her alma mater, FIU, to obtain her Jurist Doctorate. During law schools, Ingrid gained knowledge in various areas of the law, including, Family Law, Criminal Law and Procedure, Business Transactions, and Florida Wills and Trusts. She volunteered her free time to the Miami Rescue Mission and to the Cuban American Bar Association by offering legal assistance to underprivileged individuals. Also, while balancing a full class schedule, Ingrid gained hands-on experience in First Party Homeowner’s Litigation by drafting discovery, preparing for trial, and attending hearings.
