Nicole C. Canha

Nicole Canha joined Moran Kidd as an Associate Attorney in 2015. Nicole’s practice is focused on defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims.

During law school, Nicole gained extensive experience as a law clerk for the corporate law department of a Fortune 500 insurance company. She was also a Certified Legal Intern for the Department of Children and Families in the Ninth Judicial Circuit, which facilitated her publication in the Barry Law Review regarding child abuse in Florida.

Nicole graduated with honors in the top 15 percent of her class and was both an Associate and Senior Editor for the Barry Law Review. She also served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Research and Writing Programs, and as a Dean’s Writing Fellow for Upper Level Writing Requirements.

Prior to attending law school, Nicole obtained her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Tampa. While obtaining her Bachelor’s degree, she worked for a real estate and commercial litigation firm in Tampa, Florida.
