Akash Shah joined Moran Kidd in June 2017 as an Associate Attorney. Akash graduated from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad School of Law in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Akash’s practice is focused on representing employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims.
Prior to joining Moran Kidd, Akash gained litigation experience as a Law Clerk at two prestigious firms in South Florida. At these firms, Akash worked on First Property Insurance Claims and Property and Casualty Claims, litigating commercial disputes, including non-compete, trade secret, and antitrust claims.
While enrolled at Nova Southeastern University, Akash was on the Dean List’s every semester. He graduated in the top 10 percent of his class. He was in the Moot Court Society and was on the Editorial Board for the Nova Law Review.
Prior to law school at Nova Southeastern University, Akash obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. He was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida.
