Mark H. Jamieson is an associate in Moran Kidd's litigation department. Born and raised in Orlando he returned to his hometown in 1993 to practice law after attending college and law school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. His practice is focused on primarily serving the needs of our business clients in employment disputes and commercial litigation. Mark's practice includes both state and federal courts.
Mark works with clients to take preventative measures to avoid litigation through the preparation of employee handbooks, employment contracts, independent contractor agreements and severance agreements. He also advises clients on a day to day basis regarding concerns about potential courses of action in employee relations matters and possible consequences to educate them about liabilities and alternatives to avoid risk.
Working in the litigation department at Moran Kidd, Mark has dealt with a wide variety of the legal problems faced by local businesses. Business litigation involves everything from contract disputes, discrimination claims, non-compete enforcement and alleged unpaid wages to foreclosures, evictions and other real property disputes. Post litigation Mark handles settlement enforcement and judgment collections, including garnishment actions and discovery in aid of execution.
