Gary M. Berkson represents a diverse group of clients ranging in size from large, national corporations to small, closely held businesses. Gary’s broad experience in private practice and as an in-house attorney allows him to offer business clients effective legal counsel combined with business perspective.

Gary assists his clients through the entire life cycle of their businesses including: formation of the business entity, the growth process, and development and implementation of the exit strategy. He has provided legal services for clients engaged in a diverse spectrum of business activities from traditional building construction and engineering services to high tech software development. Gary has considerable experience in advising clients in structuring business entities and relationships including corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and joint ventures. He has extensive experience in assisting clients in the purchase and sale of businesses of all types ranging from small retail stores to national operations. Gary represents clients in a variety of commercial and contractual matters including shareholder and buy-sell agreements, employment relations, debt and equity financing, licensing and franchising, leasing, the sale and acquisition of equipment and real property, and the enforcement of contractual and commercial obligations and workouts.

Gary has been practicing law since 1980 and has been practicing in the Orlando area continuously since 1983. In addition to his years in private practice, Gary has 12 years of experience as in-house counsel having served as Vice President/Corporate Counsel for an international supplier of transit systems and equipment and as Corporate Counsel for an international real estate franchise organization.
